NOISE (Northeast Ohio Innovative STEM Expo) is returning for
a one-day expo showcasing Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics principles through hands-on activities, as well as a STEM Marketplace, highlighting the entrepreneurship that emerges from STEM.
NOISE will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Beachwood High School, 25100 Fairmount Blvd. in Beachwood, Ohio from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. This free event is open to the public.
The NOISE Expo will encourage and inspire both kids from grades K-12, as well as adults. With over 150 exhibitors and thousands of attendees expected, NOISE will engage with interactive exhibits and activities. The first 1,000 students will receive free lab coats, goggles and STEM swag bags.
Science entertainer, Nick Uhas, will perform 2 free shows at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Mr. Uhas, the star of “Nickipedia” on YouTube, explores scientific concepts and chemical reactions ways that are approachable, fun, and engaging. His focus is on making science demonstratable and active. Nick has also appeared on “America’s Got Talent” and “The Today Show”.
Participants will enjoy hands-on demonstrations and activities from businesses such as ASM, Cleveland Clinic and Eaton Corporation. Attendees can shop and learn more from exhibitors in the STEM Marketplace. NOISE, a family-friendly event, will include local food trucks.
